Hi, it’s me, Rita. I write this blog. If you’ve been reading Stephenson County Spotlight for a while, you might know that I am an avid crocheter. I had the pleasure of doing a live crochet demonstration at Pretzel City Farmers Market here in downtown Freeport, IL on Friday, July 7th. The weather was beautiful that day.
Pretzel City Farmers Market is held in downtown Freeport in the municipal city parking lot located at 51 W. Douglas St., Freeport IL, 61032.
Time: It’s open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is FREE. A list of upcoming Pretzel City Farmers Market dates are listed below.
Based on the offerings at past markets, you can expect that there’ll be food, art & crafts, a bounce house for kids, and music when you go. See for yourself what there is for sale.
If you missed the market so far this season, upcoming dates are:
Friday, August 4th and 18th
Saturday, August 12th Cruise Night (Location to be announced.)
Friday, September 1st and 15th
On Friday, August 4th, I’ll be doing a live painting demonstration from 6 to 6:45 p.m. You can find out more about the market and vendors who will be there by going to its Facebook page: Pretzel City Market
The market is looking for vendors and local artists to do live demonstrations. If you’re interested in either, contact Danielle Rogers firstname.lastname@example.org
Comments are welcome on Stephenson County Spotlight. If you’re a vendor, leave a comment with your contact information and any other info about how potential customers can buy from you.
