The cold temperatures have not deterred people from going where they aim to go on foot. Today’s high is supposed to be 21 degrees. Tomorrow’s high is supposed to be 1 degree.
Do you remember the day we had the snow that was actually beads of ice? You could hear it pelting surfaces for hours. I went on a short nature walk with my camera the day afterward.
Playing indoors is the way to go as cold as it’s been. What do you do for fun indoors?
We’ve had several bright, sunny days in Freeport like today that would’ve made you think it’s warmer outside than it actually is.

That large tree has awesome lines. I’m so glad I remembered to take my camera with me when I was going to the library. Freeport Public Library is a hotspot during the winter in Freeport. If you go there, you might be surprised by how many people are there on days when it seems too cold to go out.
