Did you know that it’s a place where local artisans and others sell goods on consignment throughout the year?
Items currently on display for the spring arts & crafts/farmer’s market until May 17th include bread, jams, jellies, garden art, birdhouses, doll & kids’ clothes, jewelry and more.
Whether you live in Stephenson County or are just passing through, the displays are ones that you have to see for yourself in person for the full impact.
T he 2014-2015 holiday expo display was stunning. There were even more potential gift items than usual for what could be one-stop shopping. There really was something for everyone. It was a crafter and foodie’s paradise.
The staff has always been friendly and informative each time I’ve stopped in.
Did you know that the display changes every 6-8 weeks at Stephenson County Visitors Center?
Starting May 22nd, to celebrate the completion of the Jane Addams Trail, there will be a PED, PEDAL, PADDLE EXPO until July 5th, 2015.
Stop in Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center if you’re interested in finding out what’s new in the area or want to shop for something that you might not find at a regular store. It’s a short road trip.
